Open Question: Wedding guests driving me mad - please help!?
I have been with my fiance for 8 years (since school) and since having our daughter 4 years ago and faced constant pushing to get married, finally a month ago we set a date!!
We booked our venue as where we wanted gets booked up fast and there wasn't much left for the spring, though we didn't confirm the time.
Just our luck, the date falls in school holidays and on the AFL Grand final day... But it was all that was left.
A week after setting the date, we find out Im pregnant (Yay!!) so book it to start at 10am.

Open Question: Why is it ridiculous to have an expensive wedding?
How I see it is it is one day and it is supposed to be the happiest day. But it is one day and you are wasting 10 Gs or more.Honestly at the end of the day a wedding is not an investment it is a liability which you waste money for a memory. It is ridiculous to me. How do I explain this to a woman that it is ridiculous to pay a large sum of money for one day..Please help me out here

Open Question: Im getting married and I need help!?
I don't know how to plan a wedding and we can't afford a wedding planner, if we want a photographer. He's Hispanic and I'm Caucasian, so Im not really sure what to make as the meal during the reception.
These are the only things I know so far
1) My Dress
2)The photographer
3)The colors.
4)The grooms men and brides maids.
5)The date and location of the ceremony and reception.
But I need help with the rest of the basics, and your answers will be greatly appreciated.

Open Question: How much is too much for a bridesmaid dress?
So, I would like my bridesmaids to wear this dress:

Do you guys think it is too much to ask them to pay? I truly love the dress and think it would totally compliment the September wedding I am envisioning. Plus, I think it's quite wearable as a dress for any occasion... not just a bridesmaid dress.
It is a bit more than any of the dresses I've bought as a bridesmaid, though, so I just don't know if it's unusual to ask them to pay this much. What do you guys think?

It premired on March 8th at 8:00 pm.
I recorded it on March 8th at 8:00 am. I checked if it was recorded at 7:00 pm, it was.
I had to leave the next morning, for a business trip, so I didnt watch it. I came home this morning, day off, PHEWW!
I was planning to watch it, but then I CANT FIND IT!!
